Toronto regulates STRs more tightly than most cities. Here's what every owner should know — and what we handle for you.

STR Licence Required

Operating a short-term rental in Toronto requires city registration. The property must be your principal residence, and the registration fee is $375 with annual renewal.

We guide you through the application and keep your registration current.

180-Night Cap

Entire-home short-term rentals are limited to 180 nights per calendar year. Beyond that, stays must be 28 nights or longer.

Taxes Handled

Airbnb and Booking.com automatically collect and remit Toronto's Municipal Accommodation Tax and HST on registered listings.
